It's almost 2am, to me the best time of the day, and this morning I was greeted by a pleasant surprise. My free giveaway was actually more successful than I thought. It seems 18 books were downloaded from England, 16 from Denmark, 1 from France and 1 from Italy. All together, it appears my giveaway amounted to 771 books, not too shabby!
Actually, the pleasant surprises began at Noon yesterday when 9 people bought one of the two books I had given away. Did they buy one because they liked the other? Gosh, I hope so.
The one sad point about this morning is there was a time, not too long ago, when there would be a big, golden fluff of hair laying beside me as I write. He's not there any more. I wish he was.
